Filipino Lumpiang Shanghai: All products are shipped frozen and vacuumed sealed for freshness.  Partial thawing will occur during shipping.  Lumpiang Shanghai or Shanghai Lumpia is a Filipino deep-fried snack often served as an appetizer or snack.  It is made of a paper-like or crepe-like pastry wrapper enveloping savory or sweet fillings.  Our Filipino savory lumpia are filled with a combination of ground beef and chicken, minced carrots, onions, and water chestnuts.  It is then seasoned with soy sauce, seasoning, and an egg to bind.  Sweet lumpia are filled with prepared strawberry cheesecake.

Filipino Lumpiang Shanghai: All products are shipped frozen and vacuumed sealed for freshness.  Partial thawing will occur during shipping.  Lumpiang Shanghai or Shanghai Lumpia is a Filipino deep-fried snack often served as an appetizer or snack.  It is made of a paper-like or crepe-like pastry wrapper enveloping savory or sweet fillings.  Our Filipino savory lumpia are filled with a combination of ground beef and chicken, minced carrots, onions, and water chestnuts.  It is then seasoned with soy sauce, seasoning, and an egg to bind.  Sweet lumpia are filled with prepared strawberry cheesecake.

Cooking instructions:
Savory Shanghai Lumpia (Eggrolls) Cooking Procedure:  BEST FRIED FROZEN!

  1. Take frozen, raw lumpia out of the freezer.  Carefully pull apart; gently tap and pull apart if needed.
  2. Turn stove to medium-high, heat oil in a deep pan.  Place one end of cut raw lumpia in hot oil and carefully place the other end away from you.  Continue to place raw lumpia in hot oil, making sure to leave enough room for lumpia to cook freely.
  3. Fry lumpia for 10-12 minutes or until the wrapper is golden brown.  Turn lumpia halfway through the cooking process.
  4. Using tongs, place cooked lumpia on a metal strainer; this will allow excess oil to drain from the finished product.  If no strainer, place on a paper towel-lined, flat container.
  5. Serve with garlic lemon-infused soy sauce, sweet chile sauce, or by itself.
  6. EAT and ENJOY!!!

 

Sweet/Dessert Shanghai Lumpia (Eggrolls) Cooking Procedure:  BEST FRIED FROZEN

  1. Take frozen, dessert lumpia out of the freezer.  Carefully pull apart; gently tap and pull apart if needed.

Air Fryer Cooking Directions:

  1.  Set air fryer to the French Fry setting.  Allow basket to heat up prior to placing product in it.
  2.  Place lumpia on bottom of basket; single layer only.
  3.  Put the basket in the air fryer and press start.  Allow it to cook for 20-30 minutes.  Cooking time will vary due to make, model, and size of the air fryer.
  4.  The cooked product will be hot!  Make sure to use tongs and place cooked lumpia on the serving plate.
  5.  Enjoy!!
